Dr Rachel McInnes
I have twenty years’ experience management consulting and coaching. My career started with Deloitte, moved to The National Autistic Society (UK) and a large Accounting and consulting firm. Since 2003, I have worked under my own brands. My industry experience spans health, government, not-for-profit, oil and gas, construction in New Zealand, England and Australia. I spent the last four years doing a PhD in wellbeing and work performance on scholarship at the University of Western Australia.
I work with clients to get very clear on their values and purpose and to support them through creating the life that suits them the most, and hence, in turn, enables them to contribute the most. Practically this is anything from supporting key decisions, researching and exploring options as well as the practicalities of CVs, interviews and negotiation pay and conditions.
As a single parent with chronic health issues (of a child who also has health and learning difficulties) - I deeply and personally understand the challenges of trying to create and maintain career flexibility while still enjoying life.
In my *spare* time I blog about wellbeing, coaching, habit change, science (and the perils of pseudoscience) under the handle of TheWellbeing@WorkDr.
