The Agile Coach, alongside other transformation specialists in the Technology Transformation Centre of Excellence, works in partnership with our Technology Area Lead to embed a culture of learning, empowerment, rapid experimentation, adaptability and collaboration.

 

In this role, you will lead the adoption of Agile, Lean, and DevOps frameworks to enable teams and programmes to optimize the delivery of customer value by providing guidance to key stakeholders, provide hands-on coaching for teams of practitioners and work with programmes to identify, manage and improve delivery methods.

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Enable squads to overcome constraints, realising its ambitions of quicker time to value, high team engagement and better delivery outcomes.
  • Provide hands on coaching of Scrum teams in all aspects of Scrum.
  • Establish customer centric delivery metrics and focus on improvement.
  • Help resolve team and organisational level impediments through supportive leadership, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Support the Technology Area Lead and Product Owner to embed the agile culture and behaviours and servant leadership.

Role Location: Wellington

Role Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: Standard business hours with plenty of work flexibility

 
About You

The team in ANZ’s Technology Transformation CoE are all Agile experienced professionals, highly cross-collaborative and focused on providing full support to the wider bank during the Agile transformation and implementation journey. To fit well with the team, you will be an experienced people leader with a strong servant leadership style. Your open communication style and ability to coach and mentor people at all levels will hold you in high regard as enabler of change in a culture of transparency, safety and trust.

 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • A very strong understanding of, and experience in, a range of industry recognised Agile, Lean, and DevOps frameworks.
  • The ability to articulate and explain information to customers, peers and managers, using the appropriate medium for maximum impact.
  • The ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders across the wider business as well as Technology.
  • Experience in enabling a growth culture across squads and holding true to Agile principles and values.
