Agri Relationship Manager

About The Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • To establish and grow profitable relationships with a portfolio of Agri business customers across the Taranaki region
  • Develop and demonstrate knowledge of your customer’s business to support proactive solutions to meet their current and future needs and business objectives
  • Actively promote value add material, workshops, and specialists (internal and external) to customers
  • Commit to the development and growth of a customer portfolio whilst maintaining effective relationships with many existing long term clients
  • Enhance C&A’s profile in the marketplace through networking and demonstrating our point of difference
  • Work collaboratively with various teams within Commercial and Agri and across the wider bank to support your customers’ growth and ongoing success
  • Provide excellent customer service to develop strong relationships and networks
  • Report directly to the Regional Manager & supported by an established Relationship Associate, you join a well-established and supportive team

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Farming or Agricultural sector knowledge and a passion for the sector
  • Previous successful experience as a Relationship Manager/Associate or Portfolio manager in a commercial environment
  • Enjoy networking to raise your profile and be self-motivated
  • Proficient in evaluating financial accounts, budget and cash-flow requirements
  • Analytical ability is essential
  • Previous banking industry experience or related professional services experience such as accounting or law. Alternatively you may have an entrepreneurial streak coupled with financial analysis ability
  • Proven experience in achieving sales targets and demonstration of excellent solution selling skills
  • Leadership aptitude along with strong communication and relationship building skills
