About The Role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
 

  • Responsible for a portfolio of Diversified Industry clients for the efficient and effective end-to-end credit approval, review and monitoring process
  • Connect with customers and other parts of the bank in other jurisdictions, to drive cross-divisional, cross border and multi product relationships  
  • Drive appropriate operational, compliance, conduct and reputational risk behaviours
  • Ensure the Research & Analysis procedures, process, and reporting facilitates the goals of the NZ Institutional Banking business
  • Deliver efficient and effective counterparty and industry analysis, utilising quality customer and industry insight
  • Balance the best interests of the customer and the bank – ensuring analytics clearly articulate key risks, mitigates and commercial drivers

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Extensive banking experience, including relevant degree
  • Established credit and risk experience   
  • Highly developed conceptual thinking capabilities
  • Excellent understanding of risks arising from credit risk, market risk, operational risk – across customer, product and country
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Self-directed, highly driven team player
