Business Banking Assistant Manager, Asian Banking

About The Role
In this role, you would have the opportunity to:

  • Work with a Senior Business Banking Manager to build productive customer relationships and enhance customer satisfaction   
  • Proactively provide solutions for customers in response to identified needs
  • Collaboratively develop an effective working relationship with an on-site Business Banking Manager and a wider Regional team to achieve customer and financial goals
  • Ensure Bank’s compliance and audit requirements are met by following operational procedures
  • Be part of a hardworking, focused, driven, and friendly team

Role Location: Christchurch
Role Type: Fixed Term opportunity, full-time (~9 months)

About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Proficiency in speaking fluent Mandarin is required as you will be dealing with Mandarin clients, and fluency in speaking Cantonese is advantageous
  • Previous experience in a Customer Service role
  • Experience in matching customer or client needs to helpful products and services
  • Knowledge of bank policy, procedures, and systems is highly advantageous, but not essential
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and/or stakeholders
  • Ability to work as part of a team
