 About The Role:

  • Use Data Profiling and Mapping skills to define the specifications for Data Warehouse development in an Agile environment
  • Utilise your relationship building and stakeholder management skills to work closely with the business to gain an understanding of, and define, data requirements
  • Mentor and guide colleagues where required within ANZ’s Data Intelligence function
  • Work closely with the team to build a Continuous Integration pipeline for the Domain

 
Role Location: Wellington or Auckland
Role Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Business hours with plenty of flexibility available
 
About You:
To grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

  • Evident commercial experience as a Business Analyst within technology or the equivalent (e.g. Solutions Analyst, Systems Analyst)
  • A sound understanding of large databases and data warehouse systems with proven experience in Teradata or Oracle is essential (or SQL Server)
  • Proven experience in logical data modelling and database design
  • Experience in data profiling and data mapping
  • Your background will include experience in the software development lifecycle; ideally within an Agile environment (e.g. use of Scrum, Kanban techniques)
  • Advantageous experience however not essential, includes experience with Infosphere or Informatica, and/or a good understanding of the QA process and software testing. It is also advantageous if you have previous experience within the financial services industry
