About The Role

As a Operational Risk & Compliance Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide sound Operational and Compliance risk advice to our Retail & Business Banking (R&BB) unit, including Digital and Marketing
  • Apply risk and compliance expertise and leadership on business change designs
  • Provide subject matter expertise and lead and embed a culture where risk is everyone’s responsibility
  • Contribute to cost effective, seamless and robust business operations by embedding the ANZ Operational Risk Management and Measurement Framework
  • Identify and implement various business projects and improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrate your analytical, research and problem-solving expertise
  • Build and foster relationships with key stakeholders across the business and wider organisation

Role Location: Auckland or Wellington

Role Type: Permanent, Full Time (Multiple Opportunities)

 
About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • 3+ years risk experience within the a large organisation providing risk and compliance advice
  • Ability to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships, including communicating with and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional manner
  • Ability to use initiative. Proactively taking action and persistent and resilient in addressing issues
  • Demonstrate thought leadership with sound experience managing change
  • Strong understanding of risk processes, policies and best practices
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including confidence with presenting to senior stakeholders
