About the role:
As Project Accounting Analyst, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver value in a key support role responsible for understanding, tracking and reporting the cost of the Reserve Bank’s BS11 requirements and the programme’s impact on the bank’s financial performance and resource allocation decisions
  • Develop and maintain financial models to ensure efficient and effective cost tracking, variance analysis and facilitate a nimble and responsive reporting approach
  • Ensure the operation of an efficient project finance function with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Shape and sustain effective collaborative relationships with stakeholders
  • Contribute to creating robust financial governance across the program
  • Demonstrate living the ANZ Values and our Code of Conduct

 
Location: Auckland
Role Type: Permanent
Role hours: Standard with plenty of flexibility available

 
About you:
To be successful in this role you will bring the following:

  • Accounting Technician, CA or similar qualified
  • Solid experience in Finance or related roles
  • Advanced Excel skills, particularly in modelling and presenting financial information
  • Demonstrated analytical capability with experience handling large amounts of data and drawing out insights
  • Proven ability to build credibility through excellence and strong financial and business acumen
  • Demonstrated self-starter
