About the role

Our Relationship Managers are committed to the development and growth of a customer portfolio and maintaining effective relationships with many long term clients. Operating within a defined territory, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities from both new and existing customers.  Customer portfolio composition will allow a strong focus on marketing activities.   Utilising your excellent customer service skills and your ability to develop strong relationships and networks, you will collaborate with various business units within Commercial & Agri and across the wider Bank to support your customers’ growth and ongoing success. Supported by your Auckland based team and the wider business, you will be encouraged to work in a collaborative and adaptable manner to meet and exceed the requirements of our customers. 


Role Location: Whangarei

Role Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Standard, with flexibility available

About you

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Previous banking industry experience or related professional services experience such as accounting or law. Alternatively you may have an entrepreneurial streak coupled with financial analysis ability
  • Experience dealing business to business in a professional services environment
  • Enjoy networking to raise your profile and be self-motivated
  • Proven experience in achieving sales targets and demonstration of excellent solution selling skills
  • Financial analysis experience advantageous but not essential. You will however have the ability to analyse financial accounts, budgets, and cash-flow requirements
  • Leadership aptitude along with strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Commerce degree or similar, or a CA qualification advantageous
