About The Role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Design, construct and support software applications to a high level of on-going maintainability and availability
  • Deliver clear, clean and correct systems designed to meet business and architectural goals
  • Mentor junior staff, including assisting in the selection process
  • Delivery of error-free code modules to agreed standards and timeframes
  • Keep up to date with key industry standards and directions
  • Provide accurate estimates of the programming efforts required for development or modification of software.

Hours: Standard business hours with plenty of flexibility
About You
Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Good commercial development experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experienced in data warehouse ETL development and report writing
  • Good knowledge in Oracle SQL performance tuning
  • Full understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Experienced in release management using SVN, TFS, or GIT
  • Good knowledge of QA process and software testing
  • Experienced in Unix environment and Unix shell scripting

Ideal Skills & Experience:

  • Experienced in large Oracle databases/data warehouse systems
  • Data modelling and Oracle database design
  • An understanding in Scrum development process and associated agile techniques
  • Experienced with the OFSSA 6.1 application
