About The Role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Actively contribute to the commercial success of the bank through the strategic management, delivery and development of the business to business sponsorship properties within the portfolio
  • Drive and increase positive business and brand metrics and identify new ways to do so
  • Support the business by leading the development and implementation of effective sponsorship leverage strategies and initiatives based on customer insights  
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property relevant business units & senior stakeholders and sponsored organisations
  • Represent sponsorship at relevant business forums and identify business development opportunities through the key sponsorship properties  
  • Lead the development of annual sponsorship property plans for the key sponsorships and actively contribute to the wider sponsorship strategy
  • Identify innovative new sponsorship opportunities to support business strategy

About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Business to business sponsorship experience is ideal, otherwise sponsorship event or business to business marketing experience a must
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing or related degree in sports marketing/event management, with a minimum of 6 years corporate sponsorship experience
  • Self-motivated, proven ability to deliver end to end with marketing rational
  • Proven negotiation skills & past experience
  • Strong & proven relationship Management experience
  • Ability to lead to influence both senior external partners and varied senior internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical reporting & past experience of using data to drive planning
