About The Depot
Savor Goods Depot, located in Waimauku, is the centre of operation for many of our award winning cafes and restaurants, and responsible for upholding the group's food philosophy. The Depot is home to our butchery, cold pressed juicing, gelato production and dispatch teams.
The Opportunity
Savor Goods Depot in Waimauku is searching for a new Warehouse Assistant to assist in keeping our production facility streamlined and efficient as this role involves the responsibility of inward and outward goods.
Ideally, you will , be physically fit, highly organized and efficient. Great communication skills, legal right to work in New Zealand, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends are essential. Previous experience in warehousing, outward goods, food handling and a current hoist or forklift licence are a bonus but not necessary.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Making cold-pressed juices
- Counting stock, ensuring quality checks and matched to invoices
- Preparing and packing orders for venues and communicating shortages to chefs
