Rubbish Bin Driver/Runner - AM and PM Shifts available!


We are looking for a hardworking and permanent staff members to join our team in Howick.

ABOUT THE ROLE

 At Ventia, we're proud to manage council assets in the Auckland CBD. We contract to Auckland Council for street cleaning services such as collecting litter, road sweeping, removing graffiti, water blasting, pavement cleaning and more!

  • Collection of litter
  • Emptying of bins and changing of bin liners
  • Cleaning in outside areas around minor shops and recreational spaces
  • Operating a motorised sweeper vehicle, sweeping footpaths, parking lots and other walkway areas
  • Cleaning and maintaining city and outer public areas removing waste, debris and other rubbish
  • Demonstrating commitment to safety, health, environment and quality standards.

Shift Covered (*May vary slightly between seasons.)

  • AM – 6AM to 2.30 PM
  • PM – 12 NN to 10 PM

ABOUT YOU

You will be energetic, motivated and have a genuine belief in excellent customer service with a "can do" attitude as well as be able to work independently and safely

It is a preferable that you hold a Class 1 drivers license and you must be willing and able to drive either a van or box cage small truck.

This role is full-time, permanent, 40 to 48 hours a week, so you must be willing to work on weekends.
