About the role:

Our Buildings unit in Auckland has an enviable pedigree of delivering not only some of Auckland's most iconic projects, but also takes a leadership role across the business in championing our Digital, Eminence & Innovation strategies to ensure not only our projects, but also our clients see the benefits of our new approach. 

We are seeking a new Technical Director for who will help to drive project performance, technical eminence and develop strong, meaningful relationships with our clients.

The key aspects of the position will include:

  • Leading, developing and mentoring team members to ensure the continued success of our Structural Engineering service offering.
  • Continuing the growth of new digital offerings to clients and ensure teams are engaged with new technology & platforms as they become available
  • Collaborating with the Client Directors to ensure our Client & Work Winning Strategies are consistently implemented, strengthening our Client Experience
  • Engaging regularly with the extended Buildings leadership team to facilitate strong collaboration and ensure we take the very best of Aurecon to all our Clients.
  • Taking a Project Director role, maintaining accountability for resourcing, timeliness, quality, risk management, project financial performance and scope management
