The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi

You’ll use your master management skills and ER expertise to provide exceptional HR support, coaching and advice to managers and employees on all things employment related matter including:

  • Employee relations
  • Performance and Disciplinary casework
  • Culture and Engagement

This role will take the lead on providing advice and resolution for People & Safety (P&S) queries, and the development and execution of P&S policies and practices to support our strategic direction.

You’ll use your curious nature and empathic spirit to build deep relationships with our people leaders. As a result of your hard work you be actively sought out by our people leaders looking for your professional guidance and support in proactively working with them and their people to achieve positive outcomes, resolving employment issues in a timely and fair manner.

You’ll work to create a positive and supportive work environment; one which embraces change, creates opportunity, cultivates innovation and develops our people to have the best employment experience during their time with Contact.

Your ticket to the game:

  • Significant experience working in a HR environment, with proven experience and knowledge in HR practice and process
  • A good knowledge of all aspects of employment-related legislation
  • Significant experience to operate and lead change management processes
  • The ability to think critically and look at all potential solutions.
