The opportunity
 
We are looking for experienced Internal Auditors within Risk Advisory in our Auckland office. These roles are offered on a flexible full-time basis.
 
Working as a Risk professional within our Advisory practice you will have access to a broad range of engagements, learn from the best and work for an employer that supports lifelong learning and career development. You will handle complex issues and resolve key challenges for a range of EY clients across a variety of sectors.
 
Your key responsibilities

  • Develop and grow strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
  • Apply critical thinking and innovative techniques to the delivery of work
  • Provide quality assurance across programmes and/or projects
  • Deliver on a range of risk activities, such as process and control assessments, and risk consulting

Skills and attributes for success

  • Experience working for a blue chip, government or professional services organisation as an Internal Auditor
  • An understanding of key business processes, risks and controls
  • Demonstrated experience in Internal Audit including both compliance and performance improvement focused reviews
  • The ability to interpret and apply complex legislation
  • Exceptional time management, communication and report writing skills

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • A consulting mindset that is comfortable navigating through periods of ambiguity and change
  • Experience in managing projects and teams to best serve stakeholder needs
