Supporting the local dairy community on the northern outskirts of Hamilton, key to your success will be building long lasting relationships with our farmers and the wider local community. A vital part of this role will be understanding the challenges facing our farmers, and making use of our suite of tailored solutions to support them. This will allow you to work collaboratively and connect with other parts of Fonterra to deliver a seamless experience and value to our farmers.
This role sits within an ever-changing industry where there are increasing demands on farming, profitability and sustainability. Here, you will utilise your professional skills in navigating these challenges to support our farmers and their business needs. You will be on the road a large proportion of the time and enjoy being out and about. This role suits a self-starter who works well independently.
You will be a natural relationship builder & leader who can easily gain the trust of our farmers and engage well with local communities and other rural professionals. Your excellent communication skills will help you to easily navigate tough conversations and successfully communicate Fonterra’s key messages to farmers and the community. You will be a confident individual who can challenge boundaries when required and have the ability to get people on board to work towards a common goal. On top of this, your commercial acumen is second to none, backed by sales or account management experience ideally within the agricultural sector.
