The role involves identifying actual on-air placements of television advertisements, programmes, and promotions. You will be working towards our daily data delivery deadlines to clients. You will clip the advertisements and input the necessary information for entering them into the data production system.

You are most likely the ideal candidate if you are a student or returning to the workforce and are looking for a dedicated part-time role with opportunities to grow.


The role is part-time, paid hourly.

We offer working hours that can fit around your other commitments:
A morning shift starts at 6AM. An evening shift starts at 6PM.

Reliable transport for these times is essential.

The role on offer is for a commitment to 3-4 days per week, with the opportunity to pick up extra work when available.

A morning shift is approximately 4-6 hours.
An evening shift is approximately 3-4 hours.

We require a commitment to a minimum of 3 shifts per week.

The days of the week on offer range from Monday to Sunday.

We are not able to offer a full ‘8 hour day’ of work with this role.

Essential Skills

Fast typing skills

Reliable and always on time

Fluent in English with excellent spelling and listening skills

Attention to detail, accuracy, and timing

Highly competent computer-skills and confident to learn new software

Can stay focused and enjoys repetitive work

Ability to work under pressure to keep to deadlines

Fast learner with analytic skills

Preferred skills

Level of education at NCEA Level 3, University Entrance qualification, or a proven history of academic achievement

Experience with fast and accurate Data Entry

General awareness of brands in the New Zealand advertising market

Experience or interest in the media business or market research

Loves TV!


This is an entry level position at Nielsen. The remuneration on offer is an hourly wage in the range of $17/hour, by negotiation.
