As our Retailer Analytic Partner, you will be part of a team working with some of our largest Grocery, Liquor and Convenience Store clients helping them to drive their business into the future.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Build a strong partnership with the client and seek to delight the client by delivering analytical insights, presentations and thought leadership in line with contractual commitments.
  • Contributing to client retention by providing support and solutions to their business.
  • Developing and leveraging the thought leadership built at Nielsen to set the scene when sharing data insight with the client
  • Working closely with the internal sales team to provide them with any opportunities for growth
  • Training and upskilling entry-level team members
  • Analysing information and contributing to presentations with other team members
  • Understanding our tools and systems as well as the Nielsen wide product portfolio
  • Working closely with wider Nielsen teams to ensure work is connected to meet client needs.

About you

You will possess the following skills:

  • Experience of working in an analytical capacity in an FMCG environment
  • Good awareness of understanding the needs of clients and meeting their needs
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with a proven track record of budgeting
  • Good at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Solid presentation skills
  • A strong numerical confidence and able to translate numbers into insights and recommendations
  • Project management and time management
  • Performs work accurately and effectively with attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a digitally enabled environment
  • Strong technical competency

  • Contributing to client retention by providing support and solutions to their business.
