Group HSE Coordinator

Who we are
We’re on a mission to reinvent the way homes, cities and communities are powered.

Our people are creating a new energy future where power will flow through brilliant infrastructure, smart technology and clever systems. It’s all about providing greater access to more affordable, reliable, sustainable energy.

Electric vehicles, renewables and next-gen batteries will all play a part. But it’s more than that; to truly shift the dial on decarbonisation we need the best and the brightest to capitalise on the convergence of technology, sustainability and customer focus that forms the basis of our strategy.

We’ve done great things already, join us and help us do even more.

About the Role

Due to an internal promotion, we have an opportunity within our Newmarket based Group Health, Safety and Environmental team, helping drive continuous improvement of our performance and promoting a positive HSE culture.

This role plays a major part in supporting the team, so we need an outstanding Coordinator to keep our team in tip top condition!

Working closely with the HSE team, you will monitor, analyse and report on our HSE data, maintain and provide key updates around training, plus coordinate any training activities required within each business unit.

Who we are looking for

It’s important at Vector, that we continue to grow our positive HSE culture. You will help support this in this varied and interesting role. You will have proven administration/coordination experience in a larger organisation, preferably within an industrial environment, with intermediate to advanced skills across the MS Office Suite.  Some experience in SAP would be beneficial but not essential.  Previous exposure to HSE or a keen interest in developing in this area will give you a definite advantage!

You’ll be skilled at juggling various tasks and your analytical skills will be second to none. Backed up by strong written and verbal communication skills, you can easily engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. High attention to detail and meticulous planning skills are just part and parcel of who you are.

In return, this role offers the ideal opportunity to make your mark and build on your HSE career in a complex, ever changing business.

What we can offer you

We take pride in our vision and values, working together to create a new energy future.

You'll be joining a dynamic company that provides the ideal career environment for individuals with high calibre experience and skills. You'll be offered a competitive salary, a range of great benefits, and the opportunity to grow your skills and make a real difference in a supportive, high-performing team.
