This exciting opportunity will see you responsible for enhancing the services provided to both internal and external Vodafone customers through physical and network based testing to find possible exploits in different computer systems and software.  This includes technical security assessments of applications and infrastructure, security design reviews as well as risk assessments. This is a hands-on role, requiring technical skills from the hardware to the application layer.
 
Some of your key accountabilities will include:

  • Perform application and infrastructure penetration tests, as well as physical security review and social engineering tests on Vodafone’s infrastructure and systems and Customer environments
  • Review and define requirements for information security solutions
  • Perform security reviews of application designs, source code and deployments as required, covering all types of applications (web application, web services, mobile applications, thick client applications, SaaS)
  • Work on improvements for provided security services, including the continuous enhancement of existing methodology material and supporting assets
  • Defining and classifying network or system resources
  • Developing the strategy to deal with the most serious potential problems
  • Defining and implementing ways to minimize the consequences if an attack occurs

 Your resume may demonstrate:

  • Significant hands-on experience in Applications and Network penetration testing.
  • Good understanding of network protocols, design and operations.
  • Application development background and security knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of Security principles, techniques and technologies
  • Relevant security certifications would be highly desirable ( eg. CISSP, CISA, CEH, OSCP)
