Wealth Specialist


  • Manage, retain and grow the Wealth business in Wealth Direct
  • Provide personalised Investment advice to customers
  • Auckland CBD location – ANZ Centre, Albert Street 

About The Role
In this role, you would have the opportunity to: 

  • Provide quality personalised financial advice to customers with Investment needs
  • Provide excellent service appropriate to the value of the customer relationship
  • Represent Wealth Direct as the 'Champion' and support Retail and Business Banking capability with coaching on wealth products
  • Work to develop best practice to service new and existing clients wanting advice on Investments
  • Maintain regular call cycles, ensuring all stakeholders have up to date information and access to all relevant material
  • Share knowledge and support other team members and business unit front line staff to achieve performance objectives

About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Financial Advice) (Level 5) or AFA registered (required)
  • A robust knowledge of the requirements for FMA compliant conversations and processes for Investments/Managed Funds
  • Excellent knowledge of the Funds Management industry
  • Strong networking and stakeholder management skills – the ability to work with people at all levels
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of bank systems and processes, with a focus on Wealth
  • Well-developed written and spoken communication skills
  • A Growth mind-set
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Empathy, authenticity and energy
