Senior Product Manager: Everyday Banking Products

We have recently embarked on a new phase in the way we work which has been one of the most significant changes in our organisations' history - restructuring the 'delivery' part of our business into cross functional teams that have adopted working methodology drawn down from 'Agile' principles. About the role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to optimise our Everyday Banking suite which includes consumer savings, transactional accounts and debit cards.

In this rewarding role, you will work across the business to drive the delivery of business outcomes with a focus on the customer experience, acquisition and retention opportunities and margin management.

You will identify customer needs, monitor external market trends and help develop and deliver propositions and pricing strategies/recommendations to drive competitive advantage and growth.


To be successful in this role, you will need:  

  • At least five years' experience in financial services product management, ideally from a banking environment
  • A strong understanding of financial performance and forecasting
  • Proven ability to analyse, model and evaluate data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • The ability to develop, initiate and implement plans, with strong project management skills
  • Strong influencing and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver compelling business propositions to senior leaders within the bank
  • The ability to make sound judgements in the face of ambiguity/uncertainty
  • A relevant tertiary qualification

This role will suit someone who is passionate about the customer, analysing market dynamics and building strategies/tactics to deliver profitable outcomes.
