Our Risk and Assurance team are here to support Z’s ability to develop and execute strategy by ensuring there is a proactive, consistent and systematic approach to the management of risk across Z. This means making sure the management of risk is effective and consistent across the business. It also means providing independent and objective views on how well risks are being managed.

We are looking for a Risk and Assurance Business Partner to join us and bring your commercial thinking and specialist risk capabilities to work in partnership with our General Managers to build a generative decision-making culture around risks facing Z’s business activities and operations. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating the annual insurance renewal process and for supporting to the Senior Risk & Assurance Business Partner to form an enterprise wide view of the risks that have the potential to impact the business as a whole.

You will have:

  • Excellent understanding of risk and assurance principles, approaches and what is considered leading practice
  • Fantastic reputation as an effective leader
  • Have very good written and oral communication skills. You need to be comfortable presenting complex issues and recommendations in a focused and concise manner;
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • The ability to quickly understand specific business environment and business challenges and provide real-time advice
  • Highly developed analytical and lateral thinking skills as well as sound judgment and the ability to deal with demanding situations
  • Strong project execution skills and experience
  • An innovative approach and keenness to create solutions to problems
  • An ability to think outside the square in terms of identifying ways to improve existing systems and processes
  • Commitment to development of staff
  • Unquestionable respect for confidentiality of information, material and processes
